CoNSERNS-U FOOD PANTRY, Rensselear, NY is seeking donations of food and non-food items. This service program consists of the Food Pantry, crisis intervention, information and referral, advocacy, clothing, back to school and Christmas projects. Casework services are provided to individual families in the Capital District.

The Ordination and Ministerial Standing Committee of The Metropolitan Association approved Christina-Jean Alexis’ application for Ordination at its June 17, 2010, meeting and recommended her to an Ecclesiastical Council of the Association for final approval of Ordination.

The following dates have been scheduled:
 - Ecclesiastical Council on Thursday evening, September 9, 2010, at 7 PM in the West Center UCC in Bronxville.
 - Ordination Service on Sunday afternoon, October 3 at 4 PM in the West Center UCC in Bronxville.
